Why will people follow a leader? Out of all of the attributes of the best leaders one stands out: they're highly trusted. It's a myth that great leaders are born with the skill. Learning how to be a great leader is a journey, and trust development is an important and vital part of that journey. If you want to make a positive impact with people and within an organization, you must have the trust of the people who follow you.

But it's a mistake to assume that trust will come with a position or a title. Sometimes it's just the opposite. There are, however, actions that can be done to build trust and fortunately they can be learned. In this session, attendees will learn how to:
• Recognize when trust is a key issue for moving forward in a business or personal transaction
• Build more trust within yourself so you aren't second guessing all of your decisions
• Spot and overcome the obstacles to building trust
• Rebuild trust once it has been damaged and recognize when trust cannot be rebuilt
