Rachel Kurilko, Technical Support Manager, Vanderbilt University Information Technology
Rachel Kurilko is the Technical Support Manager at Vanderbilt University Information Technology, where she leads the Vanderbilt IT Service Desk team, also known as the Tech Hub. She joined VUIT as a senior technical support specialist in 2018. Prior to her role at Vanderbilt, Rachel served for nine years in the United States Air Force, where she developed strong leadership skills and a commitment to service. Her military background provided her with a solid foundation in problem-solving, adaptability, and team coordination—qualities she brings to her current role. Rachel is passionate about empowering and growing her team and ensuring that the Vanderbilt community receives exceptional IT support. Through her leadership, the Service Desk (Vanderbilt IT Tech Hub) has become a trusted resource for students, faculty, and staff.
