Rocky McGuireAVP - IT GovernanceCorporate One Federal Credit Union

Rocky McGuire's professional journey is defined by continual growth, adaptability, and a steadfast commitment to servant leadership. Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, Rocky began his adult career in management at Chick-fil-A, where he cultivated a passion for leading people and obsessing over experience. Rocky's transition to the IT industry came unexpectedly in 2015 when he accidentally fell into IT Support, taking on a contract role with Atos as a Service Desk Agent. This would mark growth through 10 roles in as many years through Service Management. Rocky's career quickly evolved as he embraced increasingly complex roles, progressing from Level 1 and Level 2 Analyst to Active Directory Admin, Team Lead, and Training/Quality positions before ending his time at Atos working a project focused on continuous improvement and service delivery. His dedication to service excellence and leadership development prepared him for a pivotal move in June 2021, when he joined Unisys as Operations Manager overseeing a half of the U.S. Service Desk team. Demonstrating a commitment to driving innovation and improving experiences, Rocky advanced to the role of Experience Manager in 2022, focusing on elevating both employee and customer experiences for Unisys Service Desk Analysts and their clients. In August 2023, Rocky embraced yet a new challenge as Head of North America Service Desk, overseeing operations and service delivery for the entire U.S. Service Desk team at Unisys. His career progression continued in June 2025, when he assumed the role of AVP, IT Governance at Corporate One Federal Credit Union, a transition made possible by his active involvement with HDI Local Chapters. Throughout his career, Rocky has been passionate about championing servant leadership and holistic employee and customer experiences. His path through diverse roles within the service desk industry has provided him with valuable insights into effective leadership and the drivers of exceptional customer outcomes. Beyond his professional responsibilities, Rocky is an avid consumer of leadership content, a dedicated HDI Local Chapters officer, and the HDI Local Chapters podcast host. Rocky finds his greatest fulfillment in his roles as husband and proud girl-dad, bringing the values of empathy, growth, and servanthood to every aspect of his life.
