We are all familiar with the work IT does, from designing and building, to testing and launching, to running and supporting products and services. However often these steps are often not built, run, or integrated as seamlessly as they ought to be to deliver optimum value. The core proposition of ITIL 4 is that this work is all part of a single value chain, with a variety of different types of work passing through it (known as value streams). A key element in achieving this is understanding that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to achieving success across different organisations. In this session, Roman Jouravlev will highlight some of the key concepts and practical guidance from ITIL 4 to show how it enables Lean and Agile ways of working.
